Face Challe (Roger Schall) was born in 1904 in France. He photographed for the most famous publications for 30 years and influenced the development of photography at that time. Most masters were interested in the daily life of Paris, which later became his favourite subject.
Challe was shooting the French capital before, during and after the German occupation. In 1967, he stopped shooting and devoted himself to painting. The creative heritage of photographer is about 100,000 shots.
