The foreign Ministry is watching with concern over the misuse of the Bulgarian national minority.
The attempts of certain forces and certain countries to disrupt inter-ethnic peace and consent in Ukraine, as well as to impair friendly relations with neighboring countries will be stopped.
This is stated in the commentary of the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the incidents in Odessa region with the local Bulgarian community.
“Ministry of foreign Affairs anxiously watching the attempts to use the Bulgarian national minority to destabilize the situation in the South of Odessa region. Recent incidents which have taken place with certain representatives of the Bulgarian community, is in no way associated with their ethnicity, and were provoked by the statements that in the face of continued Russian aggression are perceived is extremely sensitive,” – said in a statement.
The foreign Ministry has condemned any violent action to clarify interpersonal relations and added that law enforcement officers already carry out necessary investigative actions.
“The results of the investigation the perpetrators will bear the responsibility stipulated by law”, – assured the Minister.
Diplomats stressed that Ukraine since independence, guarantees and ensures the implementation of national-cultural rights and needs of the Bulgarian minorities.
