The first racket of Ukraine Oleksandr Dolgopolov failed the last round before the start of the US Open.
After a decent performance at the Masters in Cincinnati Dolgopolov moved to the tournament ATP-250 in Winston-Salem. In the first round, the Ukrainian met with the 114-th racket of the world Brazilian, Thiago Monteiro, who a few weeks ago beat Dolgopolov on clay in Gstaad.
