For UN resolution drawn up with the vision of resolving the conflict, according to the media.
Russia prepared for the UN security Council a resolution proposal to send peacekeepers to the Donbas to protect the OSCE observers. It is reported by Interfax with reference to the text of the resolution.
The document proposes “to establish, after a full withdrawal of forces and equipment from the actual line of contact for a period of six months the UN Mission for the promotion of SMM OSCE in South-Eastern Ukraine with the head of mission, who will report directly to the Secretary General”. The text also States that the mission needs to be agreed with the representatives of Kiev and occupied Luhansk and Donetsk.
As reported, on September 5, Vladimir Putin called for UN peacekeepers in the Donbass, under certain conditions, in particular, they must reside only on the boundary line.
The next day the foreign Ministry of Germany stated that in the case of sending UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbass “blue helmets” will need place throughout the conflict.
