Poroshenko said that now every Ukrainian can drink coffee in the EU.
President Petro Poroshenko said that with the introduction of a visa-free regime with the EU every Ukrainian has the opportunity to enjoy a “fantastic coffee Bratislava”.
He said this in the Transcarpathian region at a ceremony on the occasion of the entry into force bezveza together with the President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska in the Transcarpathian region.
“Today every Ukrainian can, and have the opportunity to drink fantastic coffee in Bratislava or Locosto to fly to Warsaw or visit the Vienna Opera house”, – said the President.
Poroshenko added that, in its turn, Ukraine has launched new trains to the neighboring countries of the EU.
“We launched a new train to our neighbouring European countries. Together with border guard and customs service to jointly equip the checkpoints and will do a single point of control with our Slovak, Polish, Hungarian and Romanian partners,” he said.
Poroshenko also stressed that, in accordance with the Rome Statute, Ukraine is a European state.
“The more progress we show that the path of reform, the more arguments I and Ukrainian people appears in order to give Ukraine the prospect of EU membership, because Ukraine is a European state, in accordance with article 49 of the Rome Statute”, he said.
