Poroshenko thanked the European Parliament for visa-free regime for Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Friday, 7 July, met with a delegation from the European Parliament headed by Chairman of the foreign Affairs Committee, David McAllister.

During the meeting Poroshenko thanked the EP for approval of the April 6 decisions on the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
“This decision was a clear confirmation of the strong support of the European Parliament the European future of our state,” he said.
The parties also discussed the prospects for the completion of the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU and ways of realizing the potential of a deep and comprehensive free trade zone, including approval by the European Parliament on additional Autonomous trade preferences to Ukraine.
Also at the meeting, the sides condemned the recent actions of the Russian Federation, aimed at destabilizing the situation in the Donbas and undermining the peace process and noted the need for concrete measures to improve the efficiency of countering Russian disinformation campaign in Europe.
