Ukraine celebrates the Day the National guard.
Sunday, March 26, their professional holiday celebrates the national guard of Ukraine.
On this occasion the congratulations of the soldiers was expressed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“Thank you, soldiers-national guardsmen for the loyalty oath, military duty and devotion to the Ukrainian people. I sincerely congratulate @ng_ukraine happy holidays!”, – wrote the head of state in Twitter.
Joined the congratulations and NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov. He noted that fighters of national guard took the first blow of the enemy in the Donbas.
“With indomitable courage and sacrifice, becoming in the gap for Ukraine, you showed the other patriots, is both possible and necessary to love the Motherland. Eternal glory to the heroes of the national guardsmen who gave their lives for our country!” – Quoted the head of the NSDC press service.
Turchynov noted that today the University is one of the best and most powerful military units – “the main deterrent to Putin’s aggression against Ukraine.”
