The meeting was closed for “technical reasons”.
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy prematurely closed the morning plenary session of Parliament, which was to last until 14.00.
“Unfortunately, technically in the hall is difficult to work with. According to article 51 of the Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, I technical circumstances forced now to conclude the morning session,” he said.
Parubiy called on MPs not to destroy the Parliament.
“I would like to today we are all together, rethink what happened, and had not approached more by Parliament for its destruction. What happened today in the hall is unacceptable. We must not let anyone destroy the Ukrainian Parliament”, – said the speaker.
