Austria has named the winners of the annual World Ski Awards, which is awarded to the best hotels, companies and resorts industry of winter sports and recreation.
The best ski resort in the world, according to experts and athletes, has become of Val Thorens, located in the famous French region “Three Valleys”. The station is the most mountainous in Europe, it is 2,300 metres above sea level. Infrastructure includes 600 km of slopes for Alpine skiing and 17 cross-country.
The best ski hotel is recognized as the “Verbier” is located in the eponymous resort in Switzerland. This place is well known for snowboarders and freeriders.
The winner in the nomination “the Best indoor ski complex” became the Ski Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Best mountain Chalet called Chalet Les Anges in Zermatt, Switzerland. Interestingly, in Zermatt denied entry on cars. Therefore, from the trains to the hotels of tourists take for electric cars or carriages.
