Lyashko proposed method of dealing with truants in the Parliament.
The number of deputies in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should be reduced to 200 people.
This convinced the leader of the faction of the Radical party Oleg Lyashko.
“In the Verkhovna Rada deputies, who for months did not go to work, have not registered a single bill, introduced never from the podium. The chaos and irresponsibility in Parliament once again confirms the correctness of the position of the Radical party – we demand to adopt amendments to the Constitution and to reduce the number of MPs to 200 people. If all 450 not go to work, then why is their number in the Parliament?” – the politician said.
At the same time, leader of opposition in the amendments to the Constitution proposes to abolish parliamentary immunity, prohibit twice elected to Parliament and be elected by retirees, and to end “family contracts”.
“Just a kid from the village further than the cowshed or pigsty is struggling, since it has neither the clout nor the hairy hands, and the Parliament sitting with their entire families and tomorrow’s grandchildren will still get to the Verkhovna Rada”, – was indignant Lyashko.
The MP added that his faction – the “iron discipline” and no one without a valid reason can not be absent in the Parliament during working hours.
“We feel a responsibility to the people who chose us. If people trust us, we can’t just not show up to work”, – said the leader of the RPL.
