Ready to come to Ukraine on a tractor, said Lukashenko.
Belarus will only work in the name of peace in Ukraine. The Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko in Chernobyl.
“Poroshenko and the entire Ukrainian people know our position is peace and only peace. Ukrainians never to Belarusians were not strangers. Like it or not like it… but we native people. We have always lived together, especially in this area. No one may divide”, Lukashenka is quoted by his press service.
Referring to Poroshenko, the Belarusian President noted that Belarusians won’t be able to do “something different than you do now.”
“We are native people, we can only come to you or, as I said, come on the tractor to help plow the land if need be. We will work only in the name of peace. We have no other purpose. And it’s not just my position, this position of the Belarusian people,” – said Lukashenko.
He called as soon as possible to stop “these internecine fights, a showdown with a gun, looking warily at each other.”
Lukashenko also said that Belarus is ready to continue to sporttovari peaceful settlement in Ukraine.
He also noted that the Ukrainian land for him personally is also not a stranger, and Belarusians – ” was and will always be reliable friends.”
