Lawyers “the Legal initiative” began to receive letters from the ECHR in the opened envelopes sealed with tape. As the “MBH media”, reported the press Secretary of the human rights organization Ksenia Babich. Letters delivers “Mail of Russia”.
“That said, our lawyer, who takes the letters everyday. We also maintained correspondence with the European court for completely different reasons. The first time we brought opened and then sealed the letter, we thought that it was an accident. However, the situation repeated itself,” — said Babic.
According to her, it was clear that the letter somebody is reading.
“Really strange, because we have a lot of correspondence we corresponded not only with the European court. However, only from the ECHR letter opened, and then glued. Today we had a whole bunch of letters. All closed, and the opened one — that of the ECHR,” — said Babic.
August 14 in the Moscow office of the legislative initiative came from the FSB and SOBR soldiers. They had no reasons for searches, the rights defenders intend to appeal against their actions.
