Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Kozlova finished the fight on hard courts tournament WTA International in Guangzhou.
In the first semifinal of the season at the WTA Kozlov competed with 30-th racket of the world of Zhang Shuai. Tennis players held the first in-person meeting.
Kozlov started the match poorly, losing three games in a row. In the fifth game Catherine was close to a reverse break, but Shuai played aggressively on
break-points, and not have suffered the loss of their supply. Kozlov then lost another game on his serve, and finally resigned to the loss of Seth.
In the second game to make a turning point in the game the Ukrainian failed – Zhang Shuai quickly led 4:0 and finished the match in their favor.
For the quarter-finals “Guangzhou International Women’s Open” Ekaterina Kozlova earned 60 points and a little over six thousand dollars in prize money.
