The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko has commissioned the translation of CHP to the economical mode of operation due to the difficult situation in the energy sector.
About it reports a press-service of the mayor.
According to him, the supply of coal in CHP LLC “Euroconstruction” today is 25 thousand tons.
“In normal mode, not saving, that’s enough for almost a month,” said Klitschko.
At the same time, the mayor of Kiev due to the difficult situation in the energy sector of the country has commissioned the translation of CHP to the economical operation mode. In particular involved steam boilers that run on coal, and hot water boilers running on natural gas.
“In this mode, the reserves of coal, which is enough for 50 days. The people of Kiev do not need to worry. Threats to Kiev there. The situation is under control. No need to panic and spread rumors,” – said Klitschko.
Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine supported the decision on the introduction of emergency in the energy sector of Ukraine due to the blockade in the Donbass. Such measures are associated with complete blockade of the supply of coal-anthracite from the occupied territories of Donbass and, consequently, interruptions of supply of coal to thermal power plants of Ukraine.
On 17 February came into force the government decree on emergency measures in the electricity sector.
United energy system of Ukraine till March 15-20 will be able to consistently operate without any power outages.
