Happened. “Twin Peaks” is back on small screens: on Sunday, the first episodes of the long-awaited third season was shown on Showtime in the United States, and on Monday they could see and the audience of the Russian TV channel TV-3. It is clear that the creators of the show does play on nostalgia, the benefit of the fan audience of the series even after a quarter-century since its premiere not diminished, but rather increased owing to a new generation of viewers who met with the original already in the 2000s, and even 2010s.
