As reported in the migration service, about 3.3 million Ukrainians as of may 11, has already received biometric passports for travel abroad
About 3.3 million Ukrainians as of 11 may 2017 has already issued biometric passports for travel abroad. This was announced by the head of the press center of the State migration service of Ukraine Sergey Gunko.
He also said that last month the passport has received 100 thousand people.
11 may on 11 may, the Council of Ministers of the European Union adopted the decision on granting visa-free regime for Ukraine. For travel abroad the Ukrainians have to provide biometric (chip) passport.
Old passports with valid visa is also valid till the expiry of the visa.
