The family of Samsung Galaxy S8 will be largely different from its predecessors.
So, Galaxy and Galaxy S8 Plus S8, will get much larger displays than the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, will retain their approximate dimensions.
Theoretically, this limits the room for maneuver in terms of increasing the battery capacity of new products, but some insiders indicates that the Galaxy S8 will be powered by the battery of 3250 mAh, and Galaxy S8 Plus – 3750 mAh. However, Korean journalists do not agree with this. According to their information, after a series of different tests, Samsung has taken a final decision on the battery capacity for the leaders and it is the following: 3000 mAh for Galaxy S8 with a 5.7” screen and 3500 mAh for Galaxy S8 Plus with 6.2” panel. Note, the latter was used in the Galaxy Note 7, the victim fiasco, but this time without flaws. In addition, insiders report that Samsung has already started to receive large volumes of components for the imminent start of mass production.
As for battery life, with this state of Affairs figures are unlikely to grow in comparison with last year’s options, but it’s hard to say that they will fall (10-nm chipset should give the desired result). However, we still have to wait for confirmation of new rumors. The official presentation will take place on March 29.
