It is expected the signing of important documents on defence cooperation
During talks at the Pentagon, an agreement was reached about deals on defense cooperation, including military-technical cooperation.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko told journalists in Washington.
“Are signed very important agreements. We are talking about the deals on defence cooperation, including the agreement on defence procurement, the supply of American weapons and an agreement on military-technical cooperation”, – said Poroshenko.
In addition, according to him, the Vice-President of the United States Mike Pence was agreed the visits to Ukraine of several key American Ministers, among them U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.
Also Poroshenko stressed that Ukraine does not exclude the purchase of American coal to replace coal from Russia-occupied territories of Donbass.
