According to deputies, the representation has shortcomings to justify the abuse.
The Committee on rules and organization of work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not support the removal of inviolability from the people’s Deputy Oles Dovgy (“will of the people”). In particular, the Committee considers that the submission of the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko on removal of inviolability from Dovgy contains shortcomings to justify the abuses committed.
“The Committee considers that the submission contains significant shortcomings to justify the abuse of people’s Deputy Dovgy their powers on a Secretary of the Kiev city Council”, – stated in the conclusion.
The Committee also decided to send the appropriate output representation and explanation Dovgy speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy.
Note, Lutsenko said that Dovgy has caused the Metropolitan community damage at more than 80 million hryvnias.
