Tourists can visit the iconic castles across the country after sunset.
From August 25 to 26, more than 100 historical sites of the Czech Republic will take part in the annual event “Night of castles” (“Gradesnica nots”). Its doors to visitors in the evening will discover castles, monasteries, churches, and several palaces. Many of them will cancel the admission. Offers unusual night tours, theatrical performances, concerts, quests, fairs and workshops. In addition, the kitchens are expected tasting of dishes prepared according to medieval recipes.
Among the participants of the “Gradesnica nots” – located in Prague Halski castle, castle Slovanka and gardens under the Prague castle. Also visitors will have to wait for the castles of Czech Sternberg, dobříš, konopiště, Castolovice. Participate in the event many objects of Bohemia, Pardubice, Moravia, Pilsen and Karlovy vary.
The main venue this year will be the castle Kynzvart in the Karlovy vary region. From 19:00 to 23:45 there will be historic military parade will be tastings of champagne and French cognac, culinary championship, fireworks and more. The entrance is free.
