A number of current and former officials of Ukraine were interrogated during the pretrial investigation of criminal proceedings in respect of treason, ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. About it in interview to UNN said the Prosecutor of Department of the Main military Prosecutor’s office of the Prosecutor General’s office Ruslan Kravchenko.
“The former head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaychenko, Andriy Parubiy (Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada – ed.), Arseniy Yatseniuk (of former Prime Minister of Ukraine – ed.), Alexander Turchinov (Secretary of the NSDC – ed.), Yuriy Sergeyev (former permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations – ed.), Arsen Avakov (interior Minister – ed.), Michael Koval (former acting Minister of defence of Ukraine – ed.), Andriy Senchenko (former acting Deputy Chairman of the presidential administration, the Deputy of three convocations – ed.) Anatoly Mogilev (ex-Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea – ed.), people’s deputies Volodymyr Lytvyn, Victoria syumar, Vladimir Zaman (ex-head of the General staff of the armed forces – ed.) and other officials”, – said Kravchenko, answering the question, one of the officials, the prosecution intends to interview in the course of the proceedings in the court on the merits.
Thus, according to the Prosecutor, the names of the witnesses for the prosecution is known to the defense.
“I want to emphasize that the final order of examination of evidence in these criminal proceedings will be determined by the court,” – said Kravchenko.
In General, according to him, the prosecution plans to question more than 100 witnesses during the trial of Yanukovych.
