The action took place under the walls of the Russian Consulate.
Activists of several Patriotic organizations burnt an effigy of Russian President Vladimir Putin near the Russian Consulate in Odessa.
The event was timed to the anniversary of the recognition of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars “extremist” in Russia and in the Crimea is requested.
Near the entrance to the Consulate the activists set up a gallows, and there hung an effigy of Putin, and then set it on fire.
In addition, the protesters with placards in their hands demanded the release of detained Crimean Tatars who had been convicted in Russia.
