In Kiev, officially opened the street of St. John Paul II and the mural with his image on the wall of the house on the Boulevard Maria Primachenko.
On Sunday 15 November in the Pechersk district of the capital took place the solemn opening of the street of John Paul II (ex-Lumumba) and the mural with the image of the Pope.
The event, in particular, was attended by members of the Polish Parliament, the Czech Ambassador and representatives of the Vatican.
“The Holy father, Pope Francis turns his sincere greeting, expressing his recognition of this laudable initiative, and wanting to vivid examples and memorable exercises of the Pope became encouragement to continue to follow with joy by the Christian witness and in service to others”, – welcomed the Grand opening of an Italian cardinal, Secretary of state of his Holiness Pietro Parolin.
Recall, October 14 the police took place in Kiev under the protection of the mural with the image of Pope John Paul II.
