This may seem like blasphemy, but today the creators of the long-awaited Nazi-thrash “Iron sky: the Coming race” decided to roll out the first official teaser trailer of the picture. Kind of ominous, like, Nazi Reich wants revenge, and now they have dinosaurs! Fortunately, we can always protect the millions of holders of stickers “Can you repeat” on the Windows of their cars.
So, about the sequel to “Iron sky” we are not heard, it seems, already in 2015, when we talked about the casting tape. In addition, previously presented us with a promotional teaser and first trailer. And there was something to see! Journey to the center of the Earth, Hitler on a t-Rex, Jesus with machine guns… Hell, these guys (directed by Timo Vuorensola and his team of writers) know what is really juicy and fun thrash!
However, despite the enthusiasm of the audience the way the picture was long and thorny, because the big studios don’t invest, with the intentions of the creators, as you can see, very ambitious. Fortunately, they once again saved by crowdfunding, and thanks to all those who helped this project.
Twenty years after the events of “Iron sky”, based once the Nazi moon base becomes the last hope of humanity. Earth devastated by nuclear war, but deep beneath this desert lies the force that can rescue the survivors or destroy them once and for all. The truth about the creation of the human race will be revealed, an old enemy will lead the characters to the adventure inside the hollow Earth. For the salvation of men they had to fight Brilli, an ancient race of reptiles and their army of dinosaurs.
In the teaser trailer we showed the relationship between the original and the sequel, presented the heroes of new stories and presented the return of Udo Kira in the image of the former Fuhrer of Nazi base on the moon. Oh, and of course, there is a reptilian Hitler on the Tyrannosaurus Rex, so it’s cool.
So, “Iron sky: the Coming race” will see the light next year, or rather, 14 Feb 2018.
But in the plans of this team Chinese-Finnish blockbuster “Iron sky: the Ark”, the premiere of which sort also is scheduled for 2018!
