Google Ukraine declares increase in viewing time of content in the video hosting service YouTube in Ukraine, 70% in 2016.
This was announced by Director of development video content creators of YouTube in Eastern Europe, Cyril Litwinski on the conference YouTube Video People.
He noted that over the past year, growth in the number of Ukrainian YouTube channels was 30%, and the growth of audience activity increased by 60%, reported Ukrainian news.
The growth in the number of new videos in YouTube Ukrainian segment amounted to 90%.
According to the study, the profiles of YouTube users – 33% of Ukrainian Internet users watching YouTube while watching television content.
At the same time, according to the global statistics of the resource, about 400 hours of video content is loaded to YouTube every minute, users watch 1 billion hours of content daily, while 60% comes from mobile devices.
In 2015 daily videos on YouTube only 40% of Ukrainian users, with 70% of Internet users aged 16 to 24 years old watch videos on YouTube daily.
In Ukraine the first video on YouTube was uploaded in 2005, YouTube officially launched at the end of 2012.
