The pilot of the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas suddenly became first during the qualifying heats at the Grand Prix of Austria.
The first segment with the minimum gap from Bottas won Hamilton. The losers of this qualifying round steel Vandorn, Perez, Sirotkin, Hartley and Erickson.
In the second segment of qualifying fastest was Vettel ahead of Hamilton by just 0,033 seconds. Before the top 10 were unable to reach the Windows, Faded, Leclere, Alonso and Stroll. In full force to fight for the pole moved “Mercedes”, “Ferrari”, “Red bull”, “Haas” and “Renault”.
The first wave of quick laps ended in favor of Bottas – the Finn was 0.5 seconds ahead of Hamilton and Vettel because of an error showed only the sixth result.
