Igor Skvortsov allegedly coordinated the intelligence activities of Paul Sharoika.
The Belarusian authorities declared persona non grata by the first Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine Igor Skvortsov. This was stated by the official representative of KGB of Belarus Dmitry Pomarin.
According to him, arrested in Belarus for espionage Paul Sharoika acknowledged that “the coordination of its intelligence activities carried out by the employee of the Main intelligence Directorate of the defense Ministry of Ukraine Igor Skvortsov, acting under the cover of counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Belarus”.
“For activities incompatible with diplomatic status, starlings declared persona non grata,” said Babarin.
