In Hefei, located in China’s Anhui province, opened the Russian-Chinese joint research center of atmospheric optics.
According to the newspaper “people’s daily online” this center is one of the important objects of cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of the PRC and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
It is noted that both parties intend to build for an international monitoring station of atmospheric optics of Siberian zones and rivers Changjiang and Huaihe.
In addition, preparing for the construction of the platform sensing of the atmosphere separate heavy laser rangefinder, full-height, world-class and others.
All this is crucial for studies of global climate change and the prevention of smog and weather forecast.
Earlier it was reported that in the city of Harbin, located in northeast China, was the Chinese-Russian Day of science, technology and innovation-2019. The event was attended by more than 300 scientists, experts and representatives of the scientific and technological communities of the two countries.
