The politician believes. that the return of Crimea to Ukraine by diplomatic means impossible.
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny said that the return of the occupied Crimea to the Ukraine cannot be solved through diplomatic channels even after the change of power in Russia.
His position, he announced in an interview on radio “Echo of Moscow”.
“I don’t see a way to solve the Crimean problem and do not believe that it can be resolved by the President Navalny, President Putin or any other President in the foreseeable future,” the politician said.
According to Navalny, almost none of the territorial conflict in modern history was not solved by diplomatic means.
“I, as President, I can guarantee one thing – that I spend a fair referendum, I will make efforts to normalize the situation. To this referendum and tripartite commissions along with the European Union we will try to attract Ukraine”, – he noted.
“I think we will all suffer for a long time, the people will suffer, investments in the Crimea will not go. I’ll answer this question many, many, many years, while engaged in politics, but no prospects in sight,” added the opposition leader.
