Man accused of “inciting hatred of the police”.
In the Krasnodar region of Russia the local public “Radical dreamers” the social network “Vkontakte” Mikhail Malakhov was summoned for questioning to the Supervisory authority, suspected of extremism by publishing the screenshot of the excerpt from the book by the famous children’s writer Nikolay Nosov “dunno on the moon”.
As told Russian journalists Malakhov himself, he called the police and reported that he received a complaint because of the incitement of hatred against a social group – the police, which falls under article 282 of the criminal code.
The post that caused, according to the blogger, questions the Prosecutor’s office, was published in public on 28 March 2017. It posted a page from the 31st Chapter, published in 1964 the book Nosov “dunno on the moon”. In the passage the characters of Herring, Cog and Spike discuss the police. Spike calls them “bandits,” who, instead of protecting the population from robbers, “only protect the rich”.
Internet users are vigorously discussing the event in social networks:
