The Pechersky district court of Kiev confiscated the political party Ukrainian Union of patriots – DILL party contributions in the amount of 468 thousand. This was stated by the head of the National Agency of Ukraine on corruption prevention (NACP) Natalia Korchak.
“22 March 2017 by the decision of Pechersk district court of Kyiv, the head of the Secretariat of the political party was found guilty of committing an administrative offense… and imposed a fine in the amount of 1,7 thousand UAH with confiscation of the amount of the contributions to support a political party in the amount of 468 thousand 946,5 hryvnia,” – said Korczak at a briefing in Kiev.
According to her, this decision is the first such precedent and is evidence of the implementation of the law on financing of political parties.
Korczak said that in this case the representatives of the Dill took the money contributions to the party through party funds and not banking, which is a violation of the law.
Also the head of the NACP added that the Agency conducts an unscheduled inspection of the Fatherland because of violations in part of contributions in favor of the party.
