Novak has promised to pay more attention to the quality of repair of roads.
The state road Agency “Ukravtodor” plans to create a black list of contractors.
This was at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine said the head of “Ukravtodor” Slawomir Nowak.
“We change the approach and pay more attention to the quality. Responsibility for technical defects, 100% will fall around the country by contractors. Our services in the areas of get our comments and input, including photo description of the inspected roads, with the obligation for contractors to correct defects. We plan to make a “black list”, which will make those contractors that will not correct the defects,” said he.
According to him, “Ukravtodor” wants to introduce a European experience of monitoring the quality of work performed, which includes several levels.
“The first level is the level of the region. There is need to improve the work of the people responsible for the supervision and conduct of tenders. The second level is the level of independent consulting engineer, independent technical supervision, approved by the decree of Cabinet of Ministers”, – said Novak.
Recall that in late March, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman has instructed the Ministry of infrastructure and the State road Agency “Ukravtodor” to check the status renovated in 2016 after the winter roads.
Earlier in March, Groisman guaranteed “Ukravtodor” 30 billion in 2017 to repair the roads.
