A joint project with Poland.
Ukrainian specialists of “Ukroboronprom” held jointly with the poles modernization of tanks of NATO.
On 7 September at the international exhibition was provided with an updated tank PT-17. Potential customers from the Ministry of defence of Poland were shown and the capabilities of this tank.
In April, in the framework of agreements concluded between the enterprises of “Ukroboronprom” and the Polish companies Zaklady Mechaniczne “Bumar – Labedy” S. A., specialists started work on the modernization of T-72 tanks. The initiator of the joint work was the Polish side.
Recall that in Ukraine began a program of military-technical modernization of the army. About it the President Petro Poroshenko said during a visit to the exhibition of weapons and military equipment on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of independence of Ukraine, the press service of the defense Ministry.
