For 10 months of 2017 (Jan-Oct), Ukrainian enterprises increased supply of chocolate in the European Union (EU) by 35% compared to the same period in 2016.
About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine.
“We put (the EU – ed.) more than 10 thousand tons worth more than $23 million Think it’s not bad, considering that in the European market chocolate is sufficiently promoted the product and the market occupied the major players,” – said Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine on European integration Olga Trofimova.
Trafimava also noted that the European requirements are applied to all types of Ukrainian chocolate products.
“Reduction in the requirements for the qualitative and quantitative composition, marking, classification of products with cocoa and chocolate in a European Directive will allow production of the domestic chocolate market to more effectively compete with the best world analogues in the domestic market and abroad,” she added.
According to Trofimovoj, Ukrainian chocolate is in great demand in Europe.
Recall that for the first 10 months of 2017 (January-November) Ukraine has exported a third of the produced products.
