They are suspected in having links with Islamic state.
The Turkish authorities introduced the “black list” more than four thousand Russians suspected of having links with the group “Islamic state”.
In the list of persons banned entry to the territory of Turkey, included almost 54 thousand foreigners from 146 countries. The largest number in the list of citizens of Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Russia.
According to the interior Ministry of Turkey 2011 Ankara on suspicion of having links with jihadists checked 17.5 thousand foreigners. Nearly five thousand of them were deported. More than 800 people were Russians.
The report notes that as a result of the 14 attacks organized by the ISIL on the territory of Turkey in the period from 2013 to 2017, killing more than 300 people were injured.
