Initially, Tesla planned to sell only in the territory of the rich California, where there are no severe frosts.
However, Tesla apparently decided to expand the capabilities of the car and to adapt the device to operate in low air temperature.
At the moment, the car battery will discharge faster at low temperatures, and the American manufacturer has decided to warm up the batteries of their electric cars. Thus, the car started to install pre-heating.
It should be noted that the heating of the machine it is recommended to include approximately an hour before the trip.
