The Ministry of Finance will regularly report on the state of banks in the fourth quarter of 2018.
“Given the fact that state-owned banks and banks with state shares are more than 50% of the market, their capitalization during the years of independence was sent to about 250 billion hryvnia (155,4 – Privat)”, – stated in the message.
“The Ministry will begin to report regularly on main indicators of activities of banks, as the practical implementation of their “framework for strategic reform of the public banking sector”, the implementation of individual strategies and about working with portfolios of distressed assets”, – informs the Ministry of Finance.
As noted, the first reporting will be in the form of quarterly and semi-annual reports on the Ministry’s website, and subsequently in a separate section, you will find all the information about the functioning state of the banking sector: current reports, strategies and reports on their implementation, the results of work with problem assets, as well as updated information on court processes and referrals to law enforcement.
According to a report in the coming weeks, the Ministry of Finance together with the national Bank and banks will process the format of the disclosure requirements of the current legislation, in particular banking secrecy.
