Two people were killed.
Died yesterday in the Luhansk region frontier guards were blown up by an explosive device while on duty near the settlement Ilyinka, at a distance of 1 km from the border with Russia. As a result of wounds, soldiers died on the spot.
It is reported by the state border service of Ukraine.
The dead were senior warrant officer Dmitry grandfather and Sergeant Sergei Guvir. Both men were originally from Odessa region. In the area of ATO they served in the fall of 2016, and prior to that held positions in divisions of the southern regional Directorate of border agencies.
The investigators previously found that the guards were killed in a landmine explosion on the stretch. In particular, it was discovered the elements of the detonator, streamers, mines. This incident is qualified according to part 3, article 258 of the criminal code (a terroristic act).
