In a new blog post, Respawn Entertainment once again discussed the future of the series Titanfall.
Though EA has said that Titanfall 2 sales were below expectations, the shooter “feels great” and “every week there are new players”.
“Now our main task is to provide a series of Titanfall a long and happy life,” write the creators. In development is “many different things”, including sets of downloadable content, “crazy experiments”, gameplay elements and even prototypes for new projects of the series. “We are only at the beginning, and that you, the fans, give us the strength to move on,” adds Respawn.
In recent months the game adds a map of “City of angels” and “fire”, but this is not all the planned updates. Information on future innovations, the developers plan to share on March 23. And in April, the creators will release “a more detailed plan for the development of Titanfall 2” for spring and summer.
Now Respawn together with the company Nexon is working on a free version of the game for South Korea. In the coming months or years we can expect “some great mobile games based on Titanfall”. But for those who are interested in game development, Respawn is preparing several video diaries.
