Nameless game Avalanche can go somewhere in 2019-2020-m years.
We don’t know when the console manufacturers will launch the next full generation (and run if at all), but the developers seem to have been aware of the coming changes. Avalanche Studios, the Creator of Mad Max and Just Cause series, is preparing a kind of game which will be released on a new unknown platforms.
The secret was given in the job description. The Studio is looking for a programmer who will lead the development of the multiplayer components for engine Avalanche of Apex. According to the company, the technology is suited for open worlds”sandbox” with lots of destructible objects. The same, apparently, will be the unnamed game like Just Cause, only with the multiplayer from the Avalanche, not the modders themselves.
Among the requests to the candidates experience with network type platforms PlayStation Network, Xbox Live or Steam. Probably the game will be released on multiple device families.
Finally, in the job description Avalanche claims that currently is involved in projects for current and next generation consoles. Here is another point for speculation: there is a chance that multiplayer “sandbox” Avalanche Apex will drop simultaneously on the PlayStation 4/Xbox One and contingent PlayStation 5/Xbox Two.
If we remember that modern video games are developed for several years, the nameless game Avalanche can go somewhere in 2019-2020-m years. Therefore, at the same time, we can expect the next generation of consoles. But you can not expect all this is only speculation based on vacancies from the same Studio.
