Chinese Great Wall released an equivalent of “Lexus”.
The Chinese company Great Wall has introduced a new crossover, which will be released under the premium brand Wey — he, the manufacturer, the market of China should be the equivalent of “Lexus”.
The novelty has received the name of VV7 and is the serial version of the concept last year’s W01.
Marka Wey is named after the ancient Chinese Kingdom of Wei, which existed from 445 in 225 BC. The main objective of the brand manufacturer calls the production of “luxurious but affordable SUV”.
Overall length of the crossover Wey VV7 is 4749 mm, a width of 1931 mm, height — 1655 mm, and the wheelbase up to 2950 mm. Thus, the model is close to the Jaguar F-Pace (4,73 meter length and 2,87 meters wheelbase).
The model will be available in two versions — in the underlying index “with” and sport “s”. They differ in design (e.g., more aggressive front bumper and four exhaust pipes the s version) and the size of the wheels (20 – and 21-inch).
According to Carnewschina, the novelty is available with all-wheel drive and only 234-horsepower two-liter turbo engine paired with a seven-step “robot” with two clutches.
