The ambassadors of the G7 welcomed the adoption of health reform in Ukraine and hope for its full realization.
The ambassadors of the countries “the Big seven” (G7) positively assess the adoption of the law on medical reform in Ukraine and expect its full implementation.
“We welcome the adoption in Parliament of the bill on health care reform and hope for its rapid introduction. This legislation is a significant step forward and is intended to provide improved health care for all Ukrainians, to ensure the efficiency from primary to tertiary health care and to eradicate corruption”, – reads the statement of the ambassadors of the G7, released on the website of the Embassy of Italy in Ukraine on Monday.
Diplomats noted that this achievement is only the first step, and to ensure the full implementation of the “lot of work”.
“It is important to ensure that sufficient funding for the health sector and support the Ministry of health. G7 will continue to support reforms in Ukraine”, – stated in the statement.
The Verkhovna Rada on 19 October 240 votes supported in the second reading and in entirety the draft law on the state financial guarantees for providing medical services and medicines (No. 6327) – medical reform.
