Famous Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda, which performs regularly in Russia and received a Russian award “woman of the year”, has made another controversial statement.
In an interview glamour.ru she reported on their career plans. “I am a realist and don’t believe that the person who does not live in the country, may suddenly become a star there. You must grow, to know their slang, mentality, to become his in order to be popular there. But to expand the geography, to speak Russian all over the world is possible and necessary”, – said the singer. “We have this year was a very successful tour of America and Canada – all sold out. Now Australia have to offer China… That is horizons really expanded – and that’s exactly what we wanted,” added Loboda.
She also said that will not learn English, but it doesn’t, because is not going to conquer the market of English-language music. We will remind, Svetlana Loboda received the title of “woman of the year 2017”, the Russian version of Glamour magazine. The awarding ceremony was held on November 13 in Moscow, in the premises of Helikon-Opera.

However, the “woman of the year” is the main prize. In addition, Loboda received the award “singer of the year”.
