Russia has developed trade ties to militants.
Russia sells on international markets for coal mined in the occupied territories of Donbass.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of economy of the Russian Federation Sergey Nazarov.
According to him, Russia does it, ostensibly to ensure that the militants were able to pay pensions and cover other social needs of the residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
As stated Nazarov, fighters sent to Russia about 1 million tons of coal monthly through occupied territory of Ukraine. Further removed from the coal Moscow sells to a third country via its seaports.
Thus, the official confirmed the accusations by Ukraine that Russia has developed trade ties to militants.
“They solve all their problems with social infrastructure, the budget and pensions,” – said Nazarov, adding that he is looking for “projects in transport, trade, energy, tax and financial sectors” terrorists.
