In the White Church, 16-year-old died from running of pulmonary tuberculosis. The culprit was mother’s prohibition to conduct Mantoux test and fluorography examination.
16-year-old boy was homeschooled in connection with disabilities. His mother had banned him Mantoux test and fluorography examination, with the result that the teenager died from advanced forms of tuberculosis.
According to the head of the centre for control over socially dangerous diseases of public health Center of Ministry of health of Ukraine Yana Terleeva for 9 months of current year in the city of White Church fell ill with TB 114 people, including 4 children and 2 teenagers.
“Two children were from migrant families (girl and boy 8 and 10 years). The family led an immoral life. Parents deprived of parental rights. Children are decorated in the institution of the closed type “Consent”. Two children from wealthy families (boys 3 and 4 years old) was not vaccinated. Their parents had tuberculosis without knowing it (disguised form of the disease),” she said.
