Experts ranked the most “survivor” cars with different mileage.
Association of technical supervision of Germany (TUV) was named the best used cars for reliability, not forgetting to specify and worst used cars that break down more often than others. In this case we are talking about the most reliable used cars, divided into five age groups (2-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-9 years and 10-11 years). The reliability rating based on 9 millions of minutes of inspection conducted by TUV.
According to the Association, among the “fresh” machine age 2-3 years the most reliable cars are mostly German car models. In particular, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and Opel, although one model, Mazda has entered the TOP 10 most reliable used cars. In 4-5-year-old car models also dominated by German brands, but there are two Japanese and one Korean car.
TOP 10 of reliability of used cars at the age of 6-7 years, according to the TUV, is headed by the Mazda3, as well as two Toyota models, the remaining cars of German production. Cars by the age of 8-9 years also consist mainly of German cars, but Japanese models anymore (4 PCs) than in categories 2 to 7 years.
As for the senior category (ages 10-11), in this case Japanese cars more than German – 60%. Does this mean that Japanese car brands are more “tenacious”?
