Last month Roskomnadzor was not in the spirit of block services one by one, and it was related to the WeChat messenger. The project ceased to operate in Russia today, however, the decision to block was reversed and all returned to normal.
As it became known, representatives of WeChat is finally out, and deigned to communicate with Roskomnadzor on the subject of the applicable service claims. In successful negotiations, all disputes settled, and the Russians can once again enjoy WeChat, as if nothing had happened. The problem was the failure of Roskomnadzor information about the developers of WeChat, which are necessary for inclusion in the respective registry, and now have all the data fully. In addition, today, this database was made more about Opera Software and Vimeo, so that the Opera browser and competitor to YouTube blocked in Russia yet is not threatened.
But if the authors of WeChat gave Roskomnadzor information about themselves, the developers of video chat and Vchat messenger BlackBerry Messenger, Imo and while that Line did not, and all of them are now officially banned. Service Zello, which is a kind of Internet radio is also blocked for approximately the same reason. Soon, apparently, Russia will block all useful services.
