The updated Jeep Compass will get the engine capacity of 1.3 liters.
Automotive brand Jeep introduced the Compass crossover three years ago in 2016.
It became known that in 2019, the automaker will introduce the updated version of the model. At present already known some details about the technical equipment of the car.
In the engine compartment will now be turbocharged aluminum engines, the volume of 1.3 liters, which belongs to the family FireFly. The capacity of the unit varies from 150 to 180 HP depending on configuration. The unit works in tandem with 6-speed rkpp, also the variant with 9-speed automatic transmission.
Recall that the previous model was mounted 1.4-litre turbocharged engine. The power of the motor was equal to 170 “horsepower” usually such engine was established on models Uno and 500X. It is reported that the most likely Compass can get a hybrid version, which will produce 240 HP. No details on the network yet.
