According to the Ministry of regional development, in January the volume of construction grew by 6.2%.
In January 2019 construction companies performed works by 6.5 billion UAH. Index of construction products in relation to the similar period in 2018 amounted to 106.2%. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of regional development, during the reporting period, the index of civil engineering structures amounted to 123.7%, buildings – 94,9% (residential – 82,2%, non – 110,4%).
In terms of regions, the leaders in the volume of construction work of steel Dnipropetrovsk oblast (978,7 million UAH), Kharkov region (770,6 million UAH) and Kyiv (UAH 1.38 billion).
New construction, reconstruction and technical re-equipment amounted to 79,3% of the total volume of construction works, capital and current repairs – 10.7% and 10% respectively.
