The head of “Ukrenergo” announced reduction of tariffs in 2018.
Draft rate from “Ukrenergo” for 2018 has already been published and the key point in this is to reduce tariff rates by 10% compared with the 2017 year.
About this informed the head of Ukrenergo Vsevolod Kovalchuk on his page in Facebook.
Kovalchuk also noted that the new project of tariffs must be approved in NKREKU, since this corresponds to the process procedures.
“The tariff will be reduced by 10%, as this is the first time in practice of our company in the energy sector in General. We can assure our users that the tariff reduction will not affect the quality of our services” – said Kovalchuk.
Also according to the head of the Ministry of energy, the high cost of energy hinders the development of industrial production in Ukraine and reduce the ability to compete manufacturers. In this regard, the new tariff from “Ukrenergo” provides for the absence of ‘additional’ reserves, but at the same time guarantees full coverage of all necessary expenses. That is why, in the opinion of the head of state-owned enterprises, this rate is balanced.
